Some general info:

Hello and a big welcome to my house! Well I’m guessing that if you are reading this page, you wish to know a little about me, so if you are interested, here are some basic facts about myself that you may find useful later on:

My full name is Lance Alan Thackeray, but we’ll forget about the Alan from now on.

I like to think of myself as a graphic designer focusing mainly in areas such as web design and GUI design. Although as of yet, I have no official certifications to me my name, I do hope that my portfolio of work will do the talking for the time being.

I am currently studying for the CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) certification which covers pretty much all aspects of web design from front-end design to back-end server administration. So far, so good.

I also write and produce music. Not so much as I used to, but it’s still up there in my hobbies. My main genres are trance, chillout and anything with emotion or feeling. I’m also very open to give any style of music a chance.

Well that’s just a few things to keep you going. I won’t say too much else as there will be plenty more sections around the site once it’s complete. All that’s left to say now is to enjoy your visit and please take a look around my portfolio.

Stuff that I can do:

I’m not one for setting boundaries on what I can do so I generally try to be open to as many areas in graphic design as possible. But I realise that that may not be too helpful! So here is a quick list of areas I feel the most comfortable in:

• Web Design - Both design and coding. I work with 100% CSS and XHTML unless of course the client requires something different. I also perform to web standards with my code to achieve the widest compatibility possible.
• GUIDesign - Although web design can come under this category, here, I class it as work such as skins or themes for the more visually rich applications such as media players (Winamp, WMP etc) or generally any application that requires a unique and great looking appearance =]
• Audio and Music - Along with graphics, I also have knowledge in the world of sound! My work in this area includes sound effects, music loops and audio logos. Please visit my “Work” section for examples.
• Logo Design - Probably an option in most designers services. I am open to logos in both pixel and vector formats.
• Banners - Advertising is a key element to draw in customers/viewers. So whether you require static or flash advertising, I can help you out, any size you wish.

Prices vary depending on the project details/requirements.
